People come to me with all sorts of questions. Sometimes these are specific problems: panic attacks, insomnia, asthenia, depression, burnout, and so on. But it happens that a person just feels bad. It seems that everything looks normal, no worse than others: there is a job, friends, even some kind of relationship. But it’s still bad. There is no understanding why all this is necessary, what to want, what to strive for, how to find your place in this world.
The external environment is extremely contradictory: it is very difficult not to get lost and understand what is worth believing and what is not. Which goals are really important, which will help you grow and develop, become happier, and which will benefit anyone other than the person themselves, as a result of aggressive marketing, social attitudes, or propaganda.
This state of uncertainty, the feeling that someone is lying to me somewhere, is alarming. And so if a person finds at least a more or less plausible explanation, most likely they will accept it, because it is very important for our brain to maintain at least the illusion of understanding reality. If there are no explanations for what is happening, they do not look convincing enough, or the arguments are doubtful, an alarm state appears. The psyche signals that there is something potentially dangerous, and part of the brain’s resources are constantly spent on finding a solution. If external circumstances or information come into conflict with your own deep beliefs, then the state of anxiety is even stronger.
So a person lives in a state of internal conflict until a suitable explanation is found. And quite often we are ready to be deceived, to make not the most logical and profitable decision for us, just to get rid of this oppressive feeling of anxiety. Of course, it is not necessary to talk about high efficiency and efficiency in such circumstances. And the quality of life, to put it mildly, leaves much to be desired.
While working with such questions, I have formed a certain algorithm-a path that consistently passes through, a person forms an understanding of their own life, their desires, goals and meanings and gets rid of excess. The course “Audit of life” is just the first and very important step on this path. The online version of the course provides an opportunity to take it for those who cannot do it “live” due to my limited time, financial, geographical or other reasons.
But it is important to understand that this is work. Serious, big and difficult work. I’m just a guide here: a person has to walk this path by himself. I’m just pointing the way. I do not give ready-made meanings, goals, guidelines, etc. a Person must come to this on their own.
In the process the majority is faced with its own resistance and goes through several crises. Usually they are preceded by powerful breakthroughs. But if you are determined to take responsibility for yourself and your own life, you will have enough motivation. And you will be able to survive these crises — it is after them that significant changes are waiting for you.
This course is just an initial stage of self-improvement. It will help you understand where you are, show mistakes and contradictions in goals, and how marketing and others really affect you.
Briefly about how the course works:
Stage 1. Introductory theoretical block on the work of the brain and psyche. Let’s touch on the basics of neurophysiology and talk about where energy comes from and how it is spent. Draw a large map that contains everything that is currently happening in your life (work, relationships, family, self-esteem, etc.).Stage 2. Deep study of meanings, goals, and desires. After completing the tasks, we draw the map of life again — this time it will be more honest, realistic and complete.
Stage 3. Let’s sum up the results and discuss how to find the time and energy to apply this knowledge and start changing your life for the better.
The course is best taken every three months. Usually after 3-6 months, after drawing a new map, people are very surprised by their own dynamics in such a short time.
It is clear that the” live ” work with a psychotherapist gives a more honest and deeper picture of the world than when working independently. But even this format will give a significant result, and with the help of a curator and further online reviews, we will bring its effectiveness closer to individual work.
As a result of the course, you will begin to better understand where you are, see your mistakes and cognitive distortions, and find conflicts in goals that do not allow you to achieve them. You will be able to listen to yourself and see the limitations that prevent you from living a full life, as well as draw up a road map-a plan for further actions to change your life for the better. This will not be the final point, but it will definitely move you.
